A new photo from Jurassic World Rebirth has been revealed.

Jurassic World Rebirth will be released in United States theaters in July 2025. The fourth installment in the Jurassic World series and the seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise, the movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs, and more.

Empire Magazine has shared a new photo of Johansson’s character from the movie, which can be viewed below via an X post.

Jurassic World Rebirth is directed by Gareth Edwards. Speaking with Empire, Edwards teased some new plot details about the forthcoming film.

What did Gareth Edwards say about Jurassic Park Rebirth?

“It goes back to what I loved about the original, with an embarrassment of riches of different set-piece-type scenarios and tense, fun action moments,” Edwards said. “There were a lot of opportunities as a filmmaker to have a lot of fun and try and play games with the audience.”

Edwards noted that “there are certain dinosaurs it would be a crime against cinema not to include” in Jurassic Park Rebirth. He also said of Johansson’s character, “She’s looking for meaning in her life after leaving the military, and this opportunity comes along where [after it] basically she’d never have to work again. But through that journey, she starts to question the ethical rights and wrongs of what they’re doing.”

Jurassic Park Rebirth is set five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. The film’s plot revolves around “an intrepid team” who need to “secure DNA samples from the three most colossal creatures across land, sea, and air” after the “planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs.”

The film additionally stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.

Jurassic Park Rebirth releases in United States theaters on July 2, 2025, from Universal Pictures.
