Miss Night and Day Episode 13 Recap & Spoilers 


Miss Night and Day episode 13 aired on Saturday, July 27, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix. It follows the story of a young woman in her twenties turning into a 50-year-old. She ages during the day and transforms back at night. Jung Eun-Ji plays the younger while Lee Jung-Eun plays the elder’s version.

In the previous episode, prosecutor Gye Ji-Ung (Choi Jin-Hyuk) didn’t hold back his feelings after saving Lee Mi-Jin (Eun-Ji) from hospital director Baek Cheol-Gyu. Meanwhile, Mi-Jin feared that the latter might put her secret in jeopardy and thus, personally told him the truth. Towards the end, Ji-Ung promised Mi-Jin to find the real culprit and kissed her.

The Miss Night and Day episode 13 begins with Ji-Ung dropping Mi-Jin at her house. She asks him to keep their relationship a secret for the time being. However, her father hears it but assures his daughter that he won’t tell her mother. The next day, the lovebirds giggled while texting each other in the office.

What happens in Miss Night and Day Episode 13? 

In Miss Night and Day episode 13, investigator Byeong-Deok notices Lim Sun and his boss Ji-Ung giggling while texting. For context, they are talking to each other but he doesn’t know that Lim Sun is Mi-Jin. Later, Lim Sun tries to avoid Ko Won (Baek Seo-Hoo), who confessed his feelings a few days ago. But he meets her and asks her not to dodge him. She reveals that she likes someone else. Ko Won says he knows but he will not move on from his feelings.

At night, Mi-Jin remembers that she had left her phone in the office. She secretly visits her workplace and successfully hides from Ji-Ung. While leaving when he sees her, Mi-Jin says that she came to spend time with him. Hence, her secret is safe once again.

Choi Jin-Hyuk is curious about Lee Jung-Eun’s relationship with the culprit

Ji-Ung and Byeong-Deok interrogate Baek Cheol-Gyu about the serial missing and killing case. He doesn’t reveal anything but asks to meet Lim Sun. When she is alone with him in the interrogation room, Cheol-Gyu questions her about catching the real culprit. She assures him that she will not disappoint him. In return, he gives a valuable piece of evidence, which leaves Ji-Ung and Byeong-Deok in surprise.

Mr. prosecutor is curious about Lim Sun’s relationship with the suspect. Recalling her childhood, she answers that Cheol-Gyu is someone she has looked up to for a long time. However, Ji-Ung doesn’t know that Lim Sun refers to Mi-Jin’s memories. Meanwhile, Cheol-Gyu doesn’t defend himself when accused of being the real culprit. He accepts the allegations and buys time for Mi-Jin/Lim Sun so that she can find the actual criminal. However, Ji-Ung discovers a piece of evidence that states that Cheol-Gyu cannot be the killer.

Miss Night and Day Episode 13 ending spoilers

Miss Night and Day episode 13 further shows Lim Sun/Mi-Jin getting jealous of Ji-Ung and colleague Cheon-Hui working together. Mi-Jin becomes happy when Ji-Ung visits her at night and showers his romantic feelings to her. However, he finds it odd when Mi-Jin refuses to have lunch with him and insists on sharing a meal after 7:00 p.m.

Ji-Ung gets more suspicious after he finds footage where Lim Sun coming out of Mi-Jin’s house early morning. Meanwhile, the investigation of the real killer continues, and a name pops up — Gong Eun-Sim. Apparently, she is one of the suspects who disappeared 20 years ago and has re-appeared. But no one knows her face.

Towards the episode 13 ending, Lim Sun learns through Ko Won that someone has been sending threatening messages to the office to expose Lim Sun. She ends up in front of a secluded house after finding out that the threats are sent from the resident. When Lim Sun confronts the resident, she learns that the threats are not for Lim Sun. The latter is shocked when she discovers that the resident wants to unmask Lim Sun’s former colleague Na Ok-Hui. Is the latter Gong Eun-Sim? Find out in the next episode.
