The Final Secret Invasion and The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse: Steamboat Silly are headlining the Disney Plus schedule for July 24-30.
Wednesday, July 26, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will finally find out whether Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) can save Earth from the Skrull invasion as the Secret Invasion finale premieres on the Disney-owned streamer. The storyline will culminate with the sixth installation. The series stars Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Emilia Clarke as G’iah, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Olivia Colman as Special Agent Sonya, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, aka War Machine, Dermot Mulroney as President Ritson, Kingsley Ben-Adir as the villainous Skrull leader Gravik, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.
Secret Invasion is executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet. Let Him Go director Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim serve as directors. The show is based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series.
On Friday, July 28, the streamer will release Steamboat Silly as part of Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebration. After reuniting with his old friend Steamboat Willie, Mickey Mouse must stop multiple versions of Mickey from causing chaos in town. The episode pays homage to the iconic 1928 cartoon short Steamboat Willie, which marked Mickey Mouse’s debut and introduced him as a beloved character to audiences worldwide. The voice cast includes Chris Diamantopoulos as Mickey Mouse, Kaitlyn Robrock as Minnie Mouse, Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck, Tress MacNeille as Daisy Duck, and Bill Farmer as both Goofy and Pluto.
