Lulu paid a visit to The Floating Rib to meet her boyfriend Dustin. Soon, things took a devastating turn as an explosion took place organized by Cyrus Renault. Lulu was left with injuries but her condition seemed fine. She ended up confessing her love for Dante but her peace was short-lived again after she hurt her head. Following this, Lulu suffered a critical injury in the brain and landed in a coma.
While family and friends prayed for her recovery, Lulu’s condition worsened. She needed a liver transplant for survival increasing the worries for her family. However, a hope came in the form of Sam McCall, who decided to donate her liver to Lulu. While Sam passed away after the transplant, Lulu finally began to recover.
