Nicole Scherzinger is facing a wave of backlash on social media after interacting with a post from Russell Brand. The controversial comedian and podcaster is currently under scrutiny due to multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Brand’s recent post on Instagram featured him wearing a hat that read, “Make Jesus First Again.” Many interpreted it as a nod to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and a reference to the comedian’s recent conversion to Christianity. In screenshots shared widely online, Scherzinger appears to have responded enthusiastically to the post, commenting, “Where do I get this hat!!!?”

However, since the backlash, the singer has deleted the comments. Further fueling criticism, Scherzinger reportedly also liked a post from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In it, the former presidential candidate expressed support for Trump’s potential return to the White House. Fans, particularly from the LGBTQIA+ community, have voiced disappointment and frustration at Scherzinger’s comments.

One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Lmaooooo not you actively voting for Trump who wants to get rid of the ONLY fan base you have rights. Way to shoot yourself directly in the foot. Wave goodbye to any semblance of fame you were desperately clinging on to. You’re toast girl.” Another commented, “You’re nothing without the gay community. Can’t even sing. Done.”

Amid growing backlash, Nicole Scherzinger released an apology on her Instagram stories, expressing regret for her recent actions. She acknowledged that she hadn’t realized her comment might be interpreted as politically charged, and emphasized that assumptions being made do not reflect her beliefs or values.
