Ananya Panday’s cousin, Ahaan Panday, is among the star kids gearing up for their debut. He is reportedly set to make his grand entry with Yash Raj Films.
Yash Raj Films recently signed director Mohit Suri for a young love story, scheduled to go on floors soon. As per reports, the romantic movie will mark Ahaan Panday’s acting debut in the industry. The makers will commence filming for the untitled movie later in 2024. YRF’s Aditya Chopra and his team intend to make his debut the biggest launch for a newcomer in the industry.
Ahaan Pandey to star in a YRF & Mohit Suri movie
According to sources, Aditya Chopra has been preparing Ahaan Panday for a while now. Also, Chopra believes that he holds the talent to emerge as a top star. “Ahaan was signed as a YRF Talent about five years back and he has been going through intense training programs devised personally by Aditya Chopra. He has been kept under wraps for the last few years and is now all set to make a big acting debut,” revealed an inside source.
Additionally, Ahaan Panday has been working closely with Mohit Suri over the last few months. Moreover, the source shared, “Mohit wishes to introduce Ahaan as the quintessential romantic hero and Ahaan has already given multiple screen tests and auditions before signing on for the part. Mohit wanted a fresh face with charisma for the big screen and is excited to explore Ahaan’s potential on the spectacle.”
The source further added, “They introduced Ahaan to Mohit Suri so that the director could assess if he was the right actor to headline his film. Ahaan worked under Mohit’s supervision and floored him with his auditions and multiple screen tests!”
Additionally, the producer of Yash Raj Films’ upcoming collaboration with Mohit Suri is YRF’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani. As per the source, the creative force of YRF, Aditya Chopra, is empowering Akshaye Widhani and his team to build creative partnerships with directors and writers of the Hindi Film Industry.
