Exclusive The Pantry Season 2 Trailer Previews Vizio Cooking Show

ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive The Pantry Season 2 trailer for Vizio’s newest interactive cooking show hosted by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio. The first episode of Season 2 is now available for streaming on Vizio WatchFree+, with new episodes set to drop between now and December 8.

“I’m excited to bring season 2 of The Pantry to Vizio viewers,” Colicchio said in a statement. “My goal with The Pantry is to remind audiences that time spent in the kitchen isn’t about making the perfect dish but about the journey you take to get there. In its essence, food is most wonderful to enjoy not only because of the flavors of a well-prepared dish but because these creations invite us to enjoy them with those we love most: our family and friends.”

The video provides viewers with a glimpse of the latest season, while Chef Tom Colicchio introduces the show’s concept, where viewers are able to buy the ingredients and appliances seen in each 25-minute episode. Season 2 will feature several celebrity guest chefs, including Gail Simmons, Rocco DiSpirito, Amanda Freitag, and more.

The Pantry is executive produced by Colicchio, who is best known as the head judge on Bravo’s cooking competition series Top Chef. The show hails from Spirits Network, which is owned by the award-winning, branded entertainment content production company NBTV Studios.

“In Season 2, the James Beard award-winning chef and producer shares more of his culinary wisdom and indispensable kitchen essentials in six episodes,” reads the official logline. “Viewers can up their gastronomical game by gleaning the shared wisdom of Colicchio and his guests and easily purchase the foundational ingredients and tools used in each episode by using the in-episode QR codes. This interactivity not only allows viewers to recreate Gail Simmon’s Panisse or Rocco DiSpirito’s Pacceri with Pesto Rosso and Red Shrimp but to do so using the same professional grade equipment as the chefs themselves.”
