WWE Announces Unexpected Match for Bron Breakker Following Jey Uso Attack

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker will compete in a surprising matchup after his recent attack on Jey Uso on RAW. A few weeks ago, Breakker lost his Intercontinental Championship to Uso. Despite his 51-day dominant reign, the latter unexpectedly dethroned him.

After the loss, Breakker interrupted Jey Uso’s celebration recently. In a surprising gesture, he congratulated and showed respect to the victor. The two shook hands without much animosity. Bron Breakker appeared to turn babyface following this move. He even confronted Gunther backstage and teased a challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

However, this week on WWE RAW, Breakker made a shocking move. After Jey Uso’s victory over Xavier Woods, Breakker stormed the ring and attacked Uso. Kofi Kingston tried to defend Uso but was beaten down by Breakker, who also speared Woods outside the ring as Woods looking out for Kingston.

It is now evident that Bron Breakker is far from finished with Jey Uso and has his sights set on reclaiming the Intercontinental title. Amidst this, WWE announced a surprising matchup for Breakker.

Bron Breakker set to compete in WWE Speed tournament

WWE recently revealed the bracket for the new WWE Speed Number One Contender’s Tournament. The promotion surprisingly added Bron Breakker to the tournament. Despite making it clear he is not finished with Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso, Breakker is set to face Cruz Del Toro in the first round of the tournament.

Bron Breakker is not the only big name appearing in the tournament. The first round also includes Sheamus vs. Giovanni Vinci, Dragon Lee vs. Tavion Heights, and Akira Tozawa vs. Riley Osborne. The tournament will begin with the October 16th episode of WWE Speed. The winner will earn the right to challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top and face Andrade for the title.
