Dancing with the Stars continues to get interesting with every passing week. Fans are now curious to know who got eliminated this week, Week 6. Each pair set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing performances on Disney Night Special. Phaedra Parks and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, went home in Dancing with the Stars Week 6.
The DWTS Week 6 night was made special with contestants performing on beloved Disney classics, wowing the audience and judges. Parks and Chmerkovskiy went for an evil jazz routine this week. They synced to the “Cruella de Vil” beats from 101 Dalmatians. Although they gracefully pulled together a villainous dance, Phaedra did skip some steps here and there, which of course came to the judges’ notice.
Judge Derek Hough did compliment the pair’s confidence and choreography along with some critique on the missing steps. He said,” The choreography was smart, the concept was complete. It felt like a Broadway show. There were a few times I felt like you were waiting for him. But there was so much confidence oozing out of you.” The duo received a score of 24 out of 30.
The episode also saw an interesting twist for contestants to amass extra points aside from their individual performances. The team dances were back and every pair was put into either of the two teams — Team Goofs and Team Roar. Both teams gave stellar performances. The eliminated couple were on Team Roar. However, Team Goofs turned out to be the winners, with a score of 27.
