A few weeks ago, at WWE Bad Blood 2024, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teamed up to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Although Rhodes and Reigns defeated The New Bloodline, the shock came after the match when the Final Boss, The Rock, made his return.
The Rock made a stunning comeback, locking eyes with both Rhodes and Reigns. He then raised his eyebrow before holding up one finger, then two, then three, before heading backstage.
Following this gesture from the final boss, reports surfaced that WWE is planning a major triple threat match featuring The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next year. With these rumors gaining steam, Rhodes directly addressed the reports, teasing that something truly unexpected is in store for WrestleMania 41.

Recently, WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on Dayna Roselli and Sean McAllister’s podcast, Vegas Revealed, where he addressed the reports on potential WrestleMania 41 match. He acknowledged the buzz and speculation surrounding WWE’s biggest event, which he claims “eats up the social feed.” Rhodes then teased that WrestleMania 41 would deliver a surprising and unexpected event.
He stated, “The hardest thing to do in WWE and in sports entertainment and pro wrestling in general is not win this. The hardest thing to do is main event Wrestlemania. So I don’t care what the rumor is, as long as the rumor is I’m in the main event of WrestleMania.”
Rhodes continued that he is “good with it,” further saying, “What I can say for those who kind of keep eyes on the rumor, I bet you what they get at Wrestlemania 41 is unexpected even to them yet. Even the people who can follow this, you mentioned the diehards who feel like they’ve got their finger on the pulse.” The pro wrestler added, “This one’s going to be tough. This one’s going to be unexpected, it’s the best way to put it, but in the best of ways.”
Although he neither confirmed nor denied the reports, it will be interesting to see how the next few months develop and influence his match at WWE WrestleMania 41.
