The Wyatt Sicks have consistently appeared on WWE RAW since their eagerly awaited debut in June. Led by Bo Dallas, also known as Uncle Howdy, the faction features Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy.
Their arrival immediately thrilled fans, and they have competed in several matches. However, with over four months on the main roster, the Wyatt Sicks have yet to secure a match at any premium live event. Major shows like Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, Bash in Berlin, and Bad Blood have come and gone without featuring an appearance from The Wyatt Sicks.
While fans initially praised their debut, the faction seems to have lost momentum on the roster. They wrapped up an intense Street Fight against Chad Gable’s American Made on RAW in early September.
Recently, the Wyatt Sicks shifted their focus to The Miz and The Final Testament. Though they remain active on the program, WWE legend Bully Ray has voiced concerns over the faction.
Bully Ray discusses gimmicky elements of The Wyatt Sicks
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray expressed concerns about the Wyatt Sicks, comparing them to the original Wyatt Family. He noted that the Wyatt Family’s strength came from their unity and realistic personas, unlike the highly stylized approach of the Wyatt Sicks.
He stated, “When The Wyatt Family originally started it was about Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and (Luke Harper). Those were four men that came together; they weren’t real gimmicky, like these new characters are gimmicky.”
Ray further critiqued the inadequate impact The Wyatt Sicks made on the promotion in recent times. He likened the scenario to that of The Fiend and shared how his tussle in the Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins seemed solely for publicity.
While the WWE Hall of Famer made important points about the Wyatt Sicks, it will be exciting to see how they are booked in the coming weeks. After RAW, the faction was recently spotted attacking The Miz while The New Day conducted their backstage interview. The storyline involving The Miz, The Final Testament, and the Wyatt Sicks promises to bring some exciting twists.
