Ahn Eun-Jin Nurses Namkoong Min’s Wounds

Popular K-drama My Dearest Part 2 is all set to air a brand new episode on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 9:50 p.m. KST on MBC and Viki. The series, set in the Joseon Dynasty, is an iconic love story between  Lee Jang-Hyun (Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil-Chae (Ahn Eun-Jin). The drama is extremely successful and aired a first installment composed of 10 episodes.

In a newly released trailer, Lee Jang-Hyun helps the Joseon people from Qing to return to Joseon. However, he falls prey to the attacks by a group of people while protecting Ryan Eum. The trailer further documents Gil-Chae nursing his wounds, which means that viewers can expect to see more heartwarming scenes from the lead couple.

Ahn Eun-Jin takes care of a wounded Namkoong Min in My Dearest Part 2 Episode 18 trailer

The previous episode documented the most-awaited reunion of Lee Jang-Hyun and Yoo Gil-Chae. However, the upcoming episode’s trailer teases some tension as Jang-Hyun tries to help the Joseon captives cross the river into Joseon as promised to them before. He’d also made a promise to Gak-Hwa (Lee Chung-Ah) that he would be with her if she ensured that the Joseon captives would cross the river safely.

However, he’d only made the promise because he thought Gil-Chae was married. In the trailer, he tries to help the Joseon captives enter Joseon through the river. However, a group of people attack them, wounding Jang-Hyun as he protects Ryan Eum. In the next few scenes, it is evident that the latter brings Jang-Hyun to Gil-Chae’s aid. She then nurses his wounds and helps him recover.

Gil-Chae also happily tells everyone of her reunion with Jang-Hyun. The attack, however, might presumably be the work of Concubine Cho. The latter doesn’t want the Joseon captives to return as she fears they might follow the Crown Prince’s orders. It looks like Jang-Hyun has successfully accomplished the mission.

As the Joseon captives manage to cross the river in the trailer, Gak-Hwa finds Jang-Hyun missing. When she asks Goo Jam about his whereabouts, he says, “Wouldn’t he be here by now if he were alive?”

In another trip from the trailer, Concubine Cho’s servants find out Jang-Hyun’s hiding place and enter the same only to find out he’s gone. Ryan Eum jumps from a wall presumably into the Crown Prince’s residence to inform the latter about the attack.

To see how it all unfolds, don’t forget to watch My Dearest Part 2 Episode 18 on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 9:50 p.m. KST on MBC and Viki.
