Dark Wolf Photo Shows Prequel Filming

Shortly after Prime Video granted The Terminal List: Dark Wolf a series order, the streamer has officially announced that the upcoming thriller series is now on its first day of production. The upcoming series will see the return of Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch as James Reece and Ben Edwards in the original 2022 series.

On X (formerly Twitter), Prime Video shared an image of Pratt and Kitsch on the set as well as a blurred photo of a man assumed to be either Luke Hemsworth (Land of Bad) or Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy). It was announced last month that Hemsworth will be joining the prequel series as “self-obsessed CIA contractor” Jules Landry.

On the other hand, Hopper’s involvement in the series was announced earlier this year. The actor is set to play Raife Hasting, a character described as a “hunter, protector, guardian, and Navy SEAL.”

What to expect in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf?

Co-created by executive produced by author Jack Carr and showrunner David DiGilio, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf — billed as “an elevated espionage thriller” — will take place five years before the mothership series, set to take viewers on Ben’s journey from “Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary” as he explores “the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.”

The series is based on Carr’s 2018 novel of the same name, with Kitsch and Pratt also serving as the show’s executive producers. The first season starred Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Riley Keough as Lauren Reece, Arlo Mertz as Lucy Reece, and Jeanne Tripplehorn as Lorraine Hartley, among others.

The Terminal List Season 1 is available for streaming on Prime Video.
