Disney Plus‘s new TV and movie release schedule for September 4-10 includes the fourth episode of Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka, a new season of I Am Groot, and the recently released live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey.
Starting on Wednesday, September 6, Star Wars fans can catch the fourth episode of Ahsoka, which will continue Ahsoka Tano’s investigation of the new threat that is putting the galaxy in jeopardy, while she also tussles with users of the dark side of the force, Ray Stevenson‘s Baylan Skoll and his apprentice, Ivanna Sakhno’s Shin Hati. Meanwhile, fans who are eager to see Baby Groot in action again can catch the cute little tree alien in the second season of I Am Groot, which will also premiere on September 6.
A major release that will take place on Disney Plus on September 6 is the recently released live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, which features Halle Bailey in the lead role of Ariel. Other cast members of The Little Mermaid are Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Noma Dumezweni as Queen Selina, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, and Art Malik as Sir Grimsby.
Other films, television specials, and television shows that will drop on Disney Plus between September 4-10 include All Wet, Trolley Troubles, Mickey’s Kangaroo, Playful Pluto, Bin Laden’s Hard Drive, Merbabies, and Bone Trouble.
