The new episode of the Best Horror Party Movies video series looks back at Radio Silence’s 2019 film Ready or Not
A new episode of our Best Horror Party Movies video series has just been released, and with this one we’re looking at a relatively recent movie: the 2019 release Ready or Not (watch it HERE), which was directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who have gone on to direct Scream (2022) and Scream VI. Scripted by Guy Busick (who has followed the directors to the Scream franchise and their upcoming Universal Monsters movie) and R. Christopher Murphy, Ready or Not has the following synopsis: A young woman is invited on the night of her wedding by her new husband’s rich, eccentric family to participate in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.
The film stars Samara Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Elyse Levesque, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell.
