Slow Horses Season 5 Ordered at Apple TV+

Ahead of its Season 4 return sometime this year, Variety brings that Apple TV+ has officially renewed the spy thriller comedy Slow Horses for a fifth season.

This early renewal also comes after nearly a week since the Gary Oldman-led series had wrapped up its 6-episode third season run. Slow Horses Season 5 will be based on the fifth installment to Mickey Herron’s spy serie titled, London Rules.

“Everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected,” reads the logline for Season 5. “After all, Jackson Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, ‘London Rules’ should always apply.”

What is Slow Horses?

The series hails from writer and executive producer Will Smith (Veep), with Saul Metzstein directing. Executive producers are Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Jane Robertson and Graham Yost. It is a production by See-Saw Films.
