Stranger Things Season 5 finale’s script made everyone cry, says David Harbour

Harbour started to express his feelings on Stranger Things Season 5 on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast and stated that he had very “strong opinions” on the show. The actor further asserted that he “can be very critical of this show.” While talking about the finale of the fifth season, Harbour told Horowitz, “They land the plane, and it is the best episode they’ve ever done.”

David Harbour further weighed down on the reactions that the other cast members had after reading the script of the finale. He said, “The end of this episode when we were reading it — just us reading it — about halfway through, people started crying. Then about the last 20 minutes, it was just uncontrollably crying, waves of different people. Noah Schnapp being my favorite. I think part of that also is the fact that these kids, it was their childhood.”

Additionally, David Harbour assured that Season 5 of Stranger Things will not disappoint the fans who are eagerly waiting for its release. He said, “It’s 10 years later, and we examine that idea, and it’s so well done and so beautiful. It’s such a great episode, and it’s such a great season. You guys will love it.”
