Sylvester Stallone’s Balboa Productions signs a multi-year deal with Amazon Studios


Sylvester Stallone and his Balboa Productions have signed a multi-year first-look deal with Amazon Studios to create exclusive content.

Sylvester Stallone is getting in the ring with Amazon Studios. According to Deadline, Stallone and his Balboa Productions studio have signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios. Through the multi-year partnership, Stallone will write, direct, produce, and star in film and television projects – scripted and unscripted – developed by Balboa Studios. The content will stream on Prime Video, with movies likely heading to the silver screen before arriving on the streaming network.

Stallone is working on creating content through the deal with the genre film Scavenger Huntwritten and directed by Elle Callahan (witch hunt). In addition to Scavenger Huntthe move to Amazon Studios means Stallone can return to the rocky franchise. Tea Creed-Verse is hotter than ever after the box office-breaking release of Creed IIIwith plans to expand the franchise through film, television, and animation.

Yesterday, Parmount+ launched a new trailer for The Family Stallone, a new reality show featuring Stallone, his immediate family (Jennifer Flavin Stallone, Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, Scarlet Stallone), and celebrity guests. The eight-part docuseries promised to “offer a seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families” as they show how the legendary action star and Oscar winner is simply “Dad” at home.
