Starring Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak as Kongthap and Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul as Atom, My Love Mix-Up! follows the pair’s high school romance. Here’s a look at My Love Mix-Up episode 1 recap.

Episode 1 of My Love Mix-Up begins with Atom admiring Mudmee in class. The flashback shows Mudmee offering Atom a cupcake after the Home Economics Club made a lot on Valentine’s Day. In the present day, Atom thinks, “If I write my crush’s name on an eraser, it will have the power to bind me and Mudmee in love for eternity.” In class, Mudmee gives Atom her eraser to borrow when he can’t find his. However, Atom finds Kongthap’s name written on Mudmee’s eraser.

Meanwhile, Kongthap, sitting in the seat in front of Atom, picks up the same eraser from the ground and returns it to the latter. The former then asks why his name is written on it with a heart. Atom lies to Kongthap and says the eraser is his as he holds back Mudmee’s secret. Kongthap then wonders when Atom fell for him. He remembers how the latter constantly asks to copy his assignments. Kongthap concludes that homework is just a cover-up, and he’s been hitting on him.

After class, Atom returns the eraser to Mudmee. As the former has already seen Kongthap’s name on it, Mudmee asks to keep it a secret and thanks Atom for not teasing her. Later, Kongthap apologizes to Atom, thinking the latter would confess. However, Atom asks him to keep it a secret and forget about it. Kongthap sincerely apologizes as he tells Atom his feelings aren’t worthless. The latter then confuses the former when he says his feelings would continue while thinking about Mudmee.

Thai BL My Love Mix-Up! episode 1 recap: Fourth Nattawat sees Gemini Norawit as his rival

Atom asks Mudmee why she likes Kongthap. She answers he’s cool, kind, and doesn’t give up easily. Considering Kongthap is his rival, Atom picks the former’s team to compete with for the upcoming badminton doubles.

After school, Kongthap comes across Half, Atom’s friend, and asks him what he’s like. The latter says his friend is “dorky and confused.” Later, Kongthap goes to the badminton practice with Atom instead of Half as he has something urgent.

Atom says he plays badminton with his mom every week. Meanwhile, Kongthap replies he hasn’t played in a long time. Despite that, Atom struggles during the practice as he keeps on missing the shuttle Kongthap throws at him. Later, Atom takes Kongthap for a meal to assess his weaknesses. After dinner, Kongthap gives Atom his racket as the latter’s is heavy. The former adds that it was a birthday present from his dad. Atom then thinks to himself that he’s done questioning why Mudmee likes Kongthap. The former asks him to stop being nice.

On PE assessment day, Kongthap and Mudmee ended up getting partnered up as both of their partners were absent. During the match, Atom asks Half not to attack Mudmee and hits Kongthap instead. The latter team wins the match after Atom doesn’t go for a drop shot despite knowing about Kongthap’s sore leg.

Later, Kongthap asks Atom why he didn’t take the shot. The latter says the former’s line that PE is about sportsmanship and returns the racket. Atom then takes Kongthap for a ride home on his bike.

Atom stops by to check if the cat that was left on the street is still there. He then shares with Kongthap that he wants to adopt the cat, but his mom won’t let him. Instead, Atom makes a shelter for the cat with his umbrella. Later, it is revealed that Kongthap takes the cat home, as well as Atom’s umbrella.

Furthermore, Atom leans on the terrace, trying to find the new eraser Mudmee gave him to write his crush’s name. However, Kongthap sees him and thinks he’s about to jump, so he pulls him back. Later, the former asks Atom to wait for his answer as he wants to get to know him first. Kongthap also returns Atom’s umbrella to him.
