The incident allegedly began as a verbal argument while Francesca Eastwood and her boyfriend were driving through Beverly Hills, according to Fox News. However, it soon escalated into a physical altercation.
Eastwood’s boyfriend reportedly contacted the authorities who advised him to drive to the Safety Zone at the Beverly Hills Police Department to meet with officers, stated TMZ. Upon arrival, officers observed injuries on the boyfriend, leading to Francesca’s arrest on felony domestic violence charges under California Penal Code 273.5.
Francesca was booked into the system at 2:06 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, and was later released after posting bail.
