Is there an Eyes of Wakanda release date?

Eyes of Wakanda’s release date could arrive by sometime in 2024.

It was reported in February 2021 that a new Wakanda-based MCU project was in development with Ryan Coogler, the filmmaker behind Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), at the helm. Three months later, Danai Gurira, who plays Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje, joined the project, which will reportedly serve as the origin story for the character.

During her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January 2023, Gurira teased a show about Okoye. Ultimately, Eyes of Wakanda was officially announced in December 2023 during a special screening of episodes 1 and 3 of What If…? Season 2. It was also announced that the series will premiere sometime in 2024.

Where is Eyes of Wakanda coming out?

Eyes of Wakanda is anticipated to come out on Disney Plus sometime in 2024.
