Who Is Miranda Hart Married to? Husband & Relationship History

Popular English comedian, actress, and writer Miranda Hart recently announced that she is married. This has led to a lot of speculation on who her husband is. Hart garnered considerable popularity because of the semi-autobiographical BBC sitcom Miranda, in which she portrays a version of herself. She has also published multiple books and appeared in several movies. Accordingly, there is much interest in Hart’s new husband.

Here is everything we have learned about Miranda Hart’s recent marriage and her relationship history.

Who is Miranda Hart’s husband?

Miranda Hart hasn’t revealed the identity of her new husband, who she refers to as ‘The Boy from Bristol’ or ‘The Mould Man’ in her 2024 memoir I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest with You. Speculation about the mystery man began last week when Hart sported a gold wedding ring. She confirmed her marriage to hosts Alex Jones and Alex Scott during her appearance on The One Show on Tuesday, October 8, and revealed that she met her eventual spouse about two years ago. “I’m married, I got married at 51 and it’s just so lovely! I’d written Gary for onscreen Miranda and it wasn’t until I was 49 that I met my person,” she said.

Hart elaborated, “It’s a little undercurrent in the book, I’m not going to reveal how we met because that’s a little bit of a twist.” She added, “He’s my best friend, we had the best fun and I’m just thrilled to be a young bride at 51.”

Hart provided more details about the relationship in her new memoir. While she withheld his identity even there, she revealed what his job was. “I met my best friend and the love of my life who brings me more silliness, laughter, joy, support, care and safety than I thought possible in a person, because I lost my house due to mould illness and he was the building surveyor on the house remediation project,” she wrote. Miranda Hart’s relationship history

Not much is known about Miranda Hart’s relationship history. It appears that she decided to keep her private life away from the spotlight. However, she has extensively written about how things developed between her and her new husband in her memoir without revealing his identity. She mentioned that they started their relationship over the phone during the pandemic and had their first date in her living room. The couple would go to a park for a walk together, attend a pottery class, and take trips to the coast of Dorset. Eventually, he proposed while they were on a wooden bridge over a lake in Kew Gardens.

In a recent Instagram post, Hart teased a look at her husband as she shared a high-five with him. “Thank you for being happy that I am happy. You’re very sweet and kind. And how we met is a little reveal in the book I hope you enjoy,” she wrote in the caption.
