On May 11, Jennifer Lawrence presented Peck with the Vito Russo Award at the New York edition of the GLAAD Media Awards. As she introduced Peck, she mentioned his partner Billy, who grew up in a religious household where his sexuality wasn’t accepted.
She added, “When he met Orville, he described falling in love as healing.” Moreover, she described that Peck’s upbringing was way different from his beau’s. From the start, his family accepted him for his sexual orientation and loved him. This made Peck a man who had self-love and always listened to himself.
