Max Casella teases Tulsa King Season 2 finale and Season 3 plans
Max Casella, who portrays Armand Truisi in Tulsa King, shared insights about the show’s upcoming Season 2 finale and teased a potential Season 3.
Speaking with TV Insider, Casella said, “I couldn’t possibly guess. I didn’t see Season 2 going the way it went, I just hope we get a Season 3. I couldn’t imagine which way they go with it. There is something that happens in [Episode] 10 that would suggest a direction. I don’t even know if that thing that happens in 10 is still in the episode, so I can’t even speak on it. If it is, it’s a good indication of where it’s going and in a potential third season; otherwise, I have no idea.”
Season 2 focuses on Armand’s redemption arc, highlighting his decision to return and face Dwight (Sylvester Stallone) after stealing from him. Casella explained, “He turns the car around because I think he’d probably end up committing suicide if he kept going. He’s basically going to Dwight saying, ‘Do it for me, but I can’t run anymore.’” Dwight, now following his own moral code, spared Armand, showing a shift in his leadership approach.
As the Season 2 finale approaches, unresolved tensions remain, including the arrival of Chickie (Domenick Lombardozzi) with orders from New York. Casella hinted at Armand’s possible future with Dwight’s crew, saying, “At the end of the season, Armand gets redeemed. He gets another chance yet again… Hopefully not going outside of Dwight’s Circle anymore.”
The fate of Tulsa King beyond Season 2 is unclear. The finale, airing November 17, 2024, on Paramount+, may hint at the series’ next chapter.
