Ahead of its upcoming world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, Luc Besson‘s next action drama DogMan is officially exempt from the SAG-AFTRA strikes. This means the cast can promote the movie during the ongoing strike.
According to Deadline, it’s still unclear which cast members will be able to attend the premiere on September 27. This special waiver was first granted to Music Box Films’ independent drama film The Unknown Country, which is being led by Lily Gladstone and Raymond Lee.
Who’s Involved in DogMan?
DogMan is written and directed by French filmmaker Luc Besson, best known for his work on Léon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, Taken, and Lucy. The film is produced by Virginie Besson-Silla and Steve Rabineau.
