Chen Xingxu Confesses His Feelings For Victoria Song

The ongoing C-drama Our Interpreter, starring Chen Xingxu and Victoria Song, released episodes 8 and 9. The office romance follows the story of Lin Xi (Victoria Song) and Xiao Yi Cheng (Chen Xingxu), the former couple, who unexpectedly meet each other eight years after their separation when their companies land a partnership.

In the previous episodes of Our Interpreter, viewers saw that Lin Xi broke up with Cheng as he was not serious about his career. As a result, Cheng didn’t seem so eager to meet Lin at first. On the other hand, Lin was also hesitant about meeting her ex, but she decided to be professional. The duo finally met in a professional setting.

In episode 8, viewers witness the ex-couple growing closer. At the beginning of the episode, Lin Xi is seen helping Cheng Yao (Fei Qi Ming), the freelance interpreter hired by Lin’s company, with his manuscript. After a tiring day of work, Lin Xi finally goes to sleep. In her sleep, she dreams that Cheng has come to her, and the two share some intimate moments. Lin Xi wakes up with cramps.

When Yi Cheng and Wang Sen (Wei Tian) catch up, Yi Cheng learns about Lin Xi’s sickness. Lin is suffering from gastritis and stomach irritation, and she can not consume spicy food or alcohol. When Cheng learns about this, he gets worried for Lin.

At work, Lin is in a bad mood because of her cramps. She takes her anger out on her subordinates, which is very unlike her.

After learning about Lin’s sickness, Yi Cheng goes to buy medicine for her. He then calls a delivery service and delivers the medicine to her anonymously. Later, he gets drinks with Mr. Wei and reminisces about his time with Lin. Later at night, he goes to see Lin at her place.

Our Interpreter Ep 8-9: Chen Xingxu wants to get back together with Victoria Song

When Cheng arrives at her place, Lin comes down to see him. The two have a sincere talk. Yi Cheng confesses that he still has feelings for Lin Xi. He says that he wants to get back together with Lin. He points out how Lin got sad when she mistook his friend for his partner, and she also must still care for him. But, unfortunately, Lin Xi turns down his proposal. Heartbroken, Yi Cheng decides to leave.

From her phone conversation with Mr. Wei, it is evident that Lin Xi also has feelings for Yi Cheng. Furthermore, in the past eight years, no matter how many guys have come after her, she hasn’t dated anyone.

As fate may have it, Yi Cheng and Lin Xi still keep bumping into each other. When Peter, Yi Cheng’s godson, calls Lin to come and pick him up, she has no choice but to go. Unable to find Peter, Yi Cheng searches everywhere. Later on, he scolds Lin Xi for the incident. But when Peter reveals the truth, he immediately feels bad and apologizes. Yi Cheng and Lin then go back to Lin’s place to discuss business.

When Yi Cheng sees that Cheng Yao has been living with Lin, he feels extremely jealous but doesn’t say anything. The focus of these episodes was Yi Cheng’s unchanged feelings for Lin Xi. Just like him, will Lin Xi be able to come to terms with her feelings?
