Daryl Dixon Release Date Set in New Photos

CMA has finally revealed the release date for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, its next horror drama spin-off featuring Norman Reedus reprising his fan-favorite role. The limited series is now scheduled to make its debut on September 10.

In addition, a new batch of photos has also been released, providing fans a first look at the franchise’s newest characters including Clémence Poésy’s Isabelle. The images also continue to tease Daryl’s dangerous journey in France after he suddenly finds himself in a new continent with no recollection of how he got there.

What to Expect in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series?

“Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why,” reads the logline. “The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicates his ultimate plan.”

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will revolve around Norman Reedus’ beloved Walking Dead character as he finds himself far away from home. Joining Reedus in the series are Harry Potter alum Clémence Poésy, Chernobyl actor Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, and more. Recent set photos also confirmed that Melissa McBride will be reprising Carol despite exiting her leading role in the project last year.

Based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard’s comic series of the same name, the series is executive produced by David Zabel, who is also set as the showrunner. Producers are Reedus, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, and Daniel Percival.
