Major Star Officially Signs With WWE– Who’s Joining the Roster?

WWE recently added a new star to its roster, one who could bring major impact due to his ties with The Bloodline. The Bloodline faction has transformed significantly this year, emerging as a powerful force on the roster.

Roman Reigns, the original leader, lost his WWE Undisputed Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Following the defeat, Solo Sikoa took control, removing Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman from the faction. Sikoa did not stop there. He introduced new members, recruiting Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Jacob Fatu to join his version of The Bloodline.

Now, tensions have erupted within the faction, as the new members under Sikoa leadership clash with the original members led by Reigns. Recently, at WWE Crown Jewel 2024, Sikoa and his faction secured a decisive victory over Reigns’ faction. Amid this ongoing Bloodline rivalry, reports have confirmed that WWE’s latest signing is Lance Anoa’i, a notable member of the famous Anoa’i family.

Lance Anoa’i officially signs with WWE during summer

Last October, Lance Anoa’i, a former Major League Wrestling (MLW) star, announced on X that he had been granted his release from MLW. Speculation quickly emerged that he was on his way to WWE, with potential plans to join The Bloodline.

Now, that speculation has been confirmed. Fightful Select behind paywall reports that Lance Anoa’i signed with WWE over the summer. However, his debut has been delayed, as he is currently sidelined with an injury and will not be cleared to wrestle for some time. At the moment, WWE has no immediate creative plans for him.

Recently, Lance Anoa’i was spotted in NXT attire alongside other WWE Performance Center talent. The photo shared online by referee Felix Fernandez. For those unfamiliar with him, Lance Anoa’i is the son of Samu and the nephew of Afa Jr.

Some fans may recall his brief appearance in WWE in 2019 when he faced Shane McMahon on RAW. After the match, McMahon and Drew McIntyre launched an attack on him. He was saved by cousin Roman Reigns following the match.

With his official WWE signing, Anoa’i could potentially join The Bloodline once he recovers. It will be interesting to see where his loyalties lie. Fans now wonder whether he will side with Roman Reigns, who saved him in 2019, or with Solo Sikoa, who currently leads a powerful faction.
