New photo stills of The Killing Vote Episode 9 has been released. The thriller Korean drama centers around a mysterious masked figure known as Gaetal who holds the death penalty against vicious criminals who manage to escape the rightful punishment by law.
The Killing Vote Episode 9 is set to explore the reunion between Kwon Seok-joo and high school student Kim Ji-hoon. Going by the photo stills, their encounter seems sentimental as Seok-joo reminisces how he almost adopted Ji-hoon in the past.
Furthermore, viewers can expect exciting plot twists after Suk-joo (Park Sung-woong) escaped in last week’s episode while Joo Hyeon (Lim Ji-yeon) was interrogating him.
The Killing Vote Episode 9 release date, time and cast
The Killing Vote Episode 9 will air on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 9.00 p.m. KST on SBS. The new episode will also be available to stream on Viki with subtitles.
The cast of the K-drama series includes Park Hae-jin as Kim Moo-chan, Park Sung-woong as Kwon Seok-joo, Lim Ji-yeon as Joo Hyeon, Shin Jung-geun as Choi Jin-soo, Go Geon-han as Kim Jordan, Oh Ha-nee as Kang Yoon-ji, Kim Yoo-mi as Min Ji-young, Kim Kwon as Lee Min-soo, Cha Rae-hyung as Park Chul-min, Choi Yu-hwa as Chae Do-hee, Kwon Ah-reum as Joo Min-seo, and Young-joo as Kim Ji-hoon.
The network shared several photos from the upcoming episode of The Killing Vote. While one set included the reunion between Kwon Seok-joo and Kim Ji-hoon, another featured Moo-chan and Joo Hyeon on a live show in the series.
In episode 8, Moo-chan was the target of Gaetal’s game because of Min-soo. But soon he realized that the entire thing was planned and the mastermind was Suk-joo. The culprit set a trap to seek revenge against Lee Min-soo who is the reason behind his 8-year-old daughter’s death.
While going through evidence against Suk-joo, Joo Hyun realized that a letter was missing and thus went to the police station to question Suk-joo. At that moment, Moo-chan called her and when she picked up, a loud bang was heard. A big truck broke the wall and Suk-joo escaped, leaving a shocked Joo Hyun on the floor. Episode 8 ended with a plot twist that revealed Suk-joo was one of the Gaetal members.
Viewers can expect a cat-and-mouse chase in The Killing Vote Episode 9 along with more plot twists. The suspense crime K-drama series airs on Thursdays on SBS and Viki.
