The Morning Show Season 4 Adds Jeremy Irons to Cast


Legendary actor Jeremy Irons has joined the cast of The Morning Show Season 4.

According to a recent report from THR, the Oscar and Emmy winner will play Martin Levy, the father of Alex Levy (played by Jennifer Aniston). The move is a big one, as it’ll be Irons’ first television role since his appearance in Netflix’s The Pentaverate, a comedy miniseries that debuted in 2022.

Alongside Irons, Marion Cotillard has also been cast as a newcomer in the upcoming season, which is set to feature a two-year timejump for its new season. Irons is an acclaimed actor with a career stretching back to the 1970s. In his time in Hollywood, he has starred in a number of high-profile projects, including playing Scar in The Lion King, Alfred Pennyworth in the DCEU, and more.

What do we know about The Morning Show Season 4?

The Morning Show is an unapologetically candid drama that looks at the modern workplace through the lens of the people who help wake America up. Cotillard will be joining series leads Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup. It also features returning stars Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, and Marcia Gay Harden. Season 4 will feature the addition of Oscar winner Marion Cotillard.

The series is created and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg (The Leftovers), with Kerry Ehrin serving as writer. Executive producers are Witherspoon, Aniston, Ehrin, Mimi Leder, Kristin Hahn, Lauren Levy Neudstadter, Adam Milch, and Erica Lipez.
