The Penguin mid-season trailer has finally been released, featuring new footage from the HBO crime drama’s remaining four episodes. Written by Breannah Gibson and Shaye Ogbonna, the upcoming fifth episode titled, “Homecoming,” will premiere on October 20 on HBO and Max.

What happens in The Penguin mid-season trailer?
The video teases the impending battle between Oz Cobb and Sofia Falcone, as they fight each other for the right to become Gotham’s next kingpin. It highlights each side’s will and determination to take over Gotham for themselves, as they respectively assemble their armies. It also highlights the intense action-packed sequences that will be featured in the final four episodes.
The Penguin stars Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Francois Chau, Carmen Ejogo, David H. Holmes, and more. It chronicles Cobb’s rise to power in Gotham’s seedy underbelly, giving fans a look into how he becomes the formidable crime kingpin he’s known to be.
The series is written and executive produced by showrunner Lauren LeFranc. Executive producers are The Batman’s Dylan Clark and Matt Reeves, Farrell, LeFranc, Daniel Pipski, Adam Kassanand, and Rafi Crohn. It is a joint project between 6th and Idaho, DC Entertainment, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.
