Vengeance Trailer Reveals Protagonist’s New Look

Atlus has released a new Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance trailer for the upcoming definitive take on the latest mainline entry of the iconic RPG series. The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 14, 2024.

The new trailer shows off many of the characters that will appear in Vengeance, including Mastema — a manipulative angel who has appeared in several Shin Megami Tensei titles. A new form for the protagonist, Nahobino, can also be seen, with the new look featuring shorter hair and purple accents instead of the regular blue.

What happens in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance?

“When a grisly murder scene in modern-day Tokyo blocks the protagonist’s walk home, an unplanned detour leaves him buried and unconscious,” reads the game’s official synopsis. “He finds himself in a wasteland ravaged by apocalypse now called Da’at. Before bloodthirsty demons can claim his life, a savior emerges, and they unite to become a mighty being, neither human nor demon: a Nahobino.”
