The Watchmen Chapter II trailer is officially here, previewing the second and final part of the DC animated adaptation of the iconic Alan Moore graphic novel.
What happens in the Watchmen Chapter II trailer?
The trailer picks up following the events of the first part, and will focus on Rorschach’s time in prison after being unmasked. Meanwhile, Doctor Manhattan has abandoned Earth for Mars, where he’s grown tired of the Earth and its ongoing issues.

Based on the 12-issue limited series by writer Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is set in an alternate history in the year 1985 at the height of the Cold War, following a group of mostly retired superheroes investigating the murder of one of their own. Along the way, they uncover an elaborate and deadly conspiracy that challenges their moral limitations due to the complex nature of the circumstances.
Watchmen Chapter II will be released on digital platforms on November 26, 2024. It then arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 3, 2024, with the following special features included on the home release of the film:

- Designing Watchmen
Brandon Vietti is once again directing Watchmen Chapter II after helming the first part. He also serves as a producer with Jim Krieg and Cindy Rago, while Sam Register, Larry Gordon, and Lloyd Levin serve as executive producers and Gibbons as a consulting producer. The screenplay was written by J. Michael Straczynski.
The film’s voice cast includes Matthew Rhys as Dan, Katee Sackhoff as Laurie, Titus Welliver as Rorschach, Troy Baker as Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, Adrienne Barbeau as Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectre, and Michael Cerveris as Doctor Manhattan.
