The Hunger Games movie series is heading to Hulu as part of the May 1-7 schedule.
Released in 2012, the first Hunger Games installment saw Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, a girl chosen to fight to death in an arena full of contestants until only one survivor remains. The Hunger Games was then followed by Catching Fire (2013), Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014), and Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), with a fifth installment titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes — which will serve both as a prequel and a spin-off — coming in November 2023. The franchise grossed over $2.9 billion at the box office.
