When asked about his future in the Marvel Cinematic UniverseOscar winner Samuel L.Jackson revealed that he’s not yet ready to say goodbye to Nick Fury. Speaking with Empire Magazine, Jackson expressed how much he loved playing the former SHIELD director who first appeared in Iron Man over a decade ago. That’s why the acclaimed actor hopes to continue being a part of the MCU, even after Disney Plus’s Secret Invasion series made its debut.
“I love playing him, and I love the fact that they’re opening him up to all these other possibilities and this whole life that he has,” Jackson said. “So hopefully, I’m not done, and in this new phase of the MCU, I’ll still be floating in and out of there somehow, some way.”
Apart from Secret Invasion, it has also been confirmed that Jackson will once again team up with Captain Marvel co-star Brie Larson in the highly-anticipated The Marvels movie, which will arrive in theaters on November 10.
