Teja Sajja’s HanuMan Sequel Set for Major Change, Claim Reports

Teja Sajja‘s latest film, HanuMan, has garnered a significant buzz among the audience. The film has been well-praised by critics, who have commended Teja’s role as Hanumanthu. As many viewers who went to see the film would know, the post-credit scene reveals the title of the next installment of the movie—Jai Hanuman.

After being charmed by the superhero film, fans eagerly wait for its next sequel. Amid this, reports reveal that Jai Hanuman will likely feature Teja Sajja in a cameo role instead of a lead position.

The film marks the first collaboration between Prashant Varma and Teja Sajja. It had a stable opening at the box office collection and unexpectedly grabbed a significant jump in the subsequent days. On the fourth day, the film received a quadrupled amount from its opening day collection. Word of mouth has been a significant factor in the grand success of the movie.

Teja Sajja’s cameo in Jai Hanuman confirmed?

Teja Sajja surely impressed his fans and audience with his performance in HanuMan. However, recent reports claim that the second installment might undergo a major change. This also resulted in the probable belief that Teja Sajja may not be leading the next project of this franchise.

Reports from Aakashavaani suggest that “a star hero & actor will do the lead role of ‘Lord Hanuman’ in Jai Hanuman.” This indicates that the film will introduce a new cast for the lead roles. Moreover, there has been an assumption that Teja Sajja might have a cameo appearance since he is still reportedly part of the next sequel, as confirmed by Aakashavaani.

In other news, Prashant Varma shared good news for the audience on the occasion of Ram Mandir’s inauguration on January 22, 2024. The director took his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “With gratitude for the immense love and support showered upon #HanuMan from audiences across the globe, I stand at the threshold of a new journey by making a promise to myself! #JaiHanuman Pre-Production Begins on the auspicious day of #RamMandirPranPrathistha.”

The pre-production of the upcoming sequel has already begun. Now, it remains to be seen when the movie will be released in 2025.
