How is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 ending different from the books?

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 is based on Michael Connelly’s fifth book, God of Guilts. Similar to the book, Michael takes up Andre La Cosse’s case, who gets framed for the murder of Gloria. However, at the end of the series, the truth finally emerges about the original culprit being James De Marco.
